We had breakfast at a local Warangal ….fruit salad and yogurt … looking out across Penestanan ( our area of Ubud) . Took the laundry up the road .. “be ready in 2 hours” R 50,000 … about £2.50 for a week’s washing. Later we had a walk to the supermarket to stock up …timed it so we could have lunch at the Yellow Flower Cafe… it’s such a chilled environment with lovely food. The walk takes you through many winding paths with amazing view points.

This blog isn't supposed to be all about food but the cuisine here in Bali is excellent. In the Ubud area there are many vegan and vegetarian warung and restaurants. Plenty of choice for us. The pictures below are from the Yellow Flower Cafe - a 15 minute walk from our apartment along beautiful little lanes.
