Had a wander round the streets of Da Nang having coffee and watching the people going about their daily lives. Briefly visited the Catholic Church … would’ve spent longer but all visitors were herded out by a hostile individual, shouting from his motorbike, “ It’s finished now. You leave. All finished!” We then went to the museum which was very interesting from a social history perspective. Spent the afternoon at My Khe beach. It’s miles of beautiful soft sand and rolling seas. It’s the cleanest of the beaches we’ve visited but still the sea was too cold to tempt me in.
