We joined a tour to visit the lady Buddha at Son Tra and the Marble Mountains. The tour guide was very efficient and knowledgeable about the places we visited. Whenever he spoke he started with, “My friends” as a way of getting our attention and constantly waved his stick with the blue and gold flag on the end. I wasn’t impressed with the fact he kept asking if I was ok on the climbs like I’m some old lady … going to colour my hair when I get home 😂 I have to say there were some pretty big boulders to scrabble over and the fact that they were smooth marble and consequently slippery, made the going arduous at times. The views from the mountains were spectacular.
