Our trip to Hoi An was a breeze especially as we were picked up from the airport and taken directly to our hotel. I was a bit surprised on our arrival as I had no idea that the hotel was quite so isolated. It stands alone on a plot of land that looks as though it is mid development. On the plus side it’s very comfortable, the staff are lovely and we have an infinity pool. After settling in we walked to a lovely little shack for the most amazing lunch! The people running it were so happy to see us … tourists have been slow to return since the pandemic. We walked across the road to the beach where we came across some water buffalo! Had a paddle and a walk then back to the hotel for a swim and a read by the pool.
