Sunshine again. Perfect for a stroll along the beach and a sit to watch the waves…bliss. Back to the hotel and pack up for the next leg of the tour. Checked in to the village island hotel. We were asked to remove our shoes at the door! It’s an easy, off road walk into the town from there. Had lunch out and helped Annabel do her take home shopping which included haggling over the cost of a 35 p poncho … the vendor wanted £1.50 for it …it was an hilarious exchange with much huffing and posturing and a final deal was struck. Annabel left for home. Paul and I explored the local area and had a very strong Vietnamese coffee. The hotel was nice in and had excellent reviews but I couldn’t cope with the smell of naphthalene.I think they must have recently done a cockroach cleanse.
